Fall Fairs and Festivals in and around Goochland

I did start a post in the beginning of the summer listing some of our favorite Fairs and festivals but I thought I'd put a reminder post up for any of you are reading recent posts only. Rather than keep updating that Summer post, I'll move the Fall/Winter Fairs here.

We love carnivals & fairs in this house. The unlimited ride wristbands for the kids are always well worth the cost. The fun that they have on those rides is priceless.

So I figured I'd keep a list of and share of all the Fairs and similar events that we try to attend that are of reasonable distance for families from Goochland County, Powhatan, Richmond, Hanover, Louisa, Chesterfield areas.

Please let me know if you know of any others that are worthy of this list! I will continue to update this list as I find more that fit.

As far as pumpkin patches go...
For the little ones I like Hanover Plant & Vegetable Farm in Ashland (20 miles Northeast of Goochland Courthouse).
there's also Ashland Berry Farm
and Chesterfield Berry Farm

A good resource I've used to find local farms for apples, pumpkins, Christmas Trees is

I just knew you would be "in the know" about all of the Fall Festivals. We are for sure doing the West End Church of the Nazarene. We went to that one last year and G had so much fun!!

Also the Centerville Pumpkin Patch is on our schedule.

And we went to Field Day of the Past today! It was great!!
