At least they are not on the roses

At least the Japanese Beetles are not attacking the roses this year.
This guy is attacking a sunflower?!
Oh yeah, once I took the photo, I took my scissors out my back pocket and cut the bugger in half. Take that for ruining my roses year after year. I don't think they're on the endangered list.

Nasty little varmints. I don't bother with soap and water but just stomp on them. They will find your roses yet, never fear.

Japanese Beetles are H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. little creatures!

They would eat our crepe myrtle and olive trees and leave everything else alone. We haven't seen any this year ... yet.

I hate bugs that destroy my gardens....I am at war with the aphid and ant population!!!

It would be hard to resist those gorgeous petals, tho. I'm just sayin'....glad you got him and hope they don't find the roses!

I commiserate. I've got one giant ball of Japanese beetles on my Sonia rose this year. They're leaving everything else alone, just destroying the roses, so I guess I should be thankful. Hopefully they will go away soon.
