Georgia on my mind


Something about sitting in a comfy chair on the front porch and seeing the asparagus fern in the hanging basket from this angle just makes me think of the spanish moss in Savannah...

I don't think I've been there since 1994 but the memories will always live with me.

And of course, I read the book, while staying there a few months for work. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt for those of you who are unfamiliar.

Love the asparagus fern ... I've never seen one of those.

Believe it or not spanish moss is something I miss MOST about Florida. It's strange how you do not really notice something until it's no longer around. The moss covered tree are just a beautiful southern thing.
