Late season colors

Some more photos from 10 days ago.
The shrub roses are still pretty:
The color of my oranges and lemon gaillardia is still so fun:
Other blanket flowers / gaillardia for some late season color:
The bees are practically frozen to the flowers as they are now so slow from the temperatures:

The front garden is livened up by the new white mum. Not sure if I want it planted there though:

Morning Colleen, so was your night as frosty as ours? My impatiens and elephant ears are still doing ok, so it wasn't a heavy frost, though there was frost on the windshield.
Love that color of your shrub rose.

Ok Janet, you got me outside to snap a few more photos after our frosty morning which I just posted.
It wasn't terrible. I do wish we hadn't had that cold snap mid October or there would have been more.

I really like the white mums as much as the Fall color ones. It brightens up that spot in your bed so nicely. Colleen your Oranges and Lemons gaillardia is just lovely.
Have a wonderful weekend.
